When life's not gone your way, and the sun always shines on the neighbour's lawn, what do you do? I don't think there's one solution to the situation, but one way of coping is to write a song about it. Or maybe even writing multiple, to properly assess the various shit scenarios life can shovel in your face. And preferably the songs should be within the universe of country and folk. Saddle up, ye cosmic cowboy! I did the graphics and layouting for Jonas Ringtved's debut album "Leftover Hippies". We agreed to do a paper cover, but with a spine to make it vinyl-essque, and the physical release also included a small booklet with photos, lyrics, and credits for each song.

Eventually, Jonas asked to have his press material updated. And perhaps some merch would be a good idea. So I took his picture, designed a typographic piece, and printed a bund of tshirts. A few years after the release of "Leftover Hippies" I also took part in recording and editing a live session of an old song that had taken on a new form. Recorded in a church, singing directly to a dude on a cross, all done in a timespan of a few hours. Good fun, that! Oh, and somewhere along the way, I became the drummer and backing vocalist in his band. So, there's that too.
