In a rehearsal space situated under a kindergarten in Aalborg, there are bubbles of people making all sorts of noise – the loud kind, the quiet kind, the experimenting kind, the challenging kind, and the pleasant kind. It's a melting pot of musical creativity, and sometimes the noises merge into new noise. Such is the story of The Basement Projects. A noise and a voice that started as a one-man-ensemble consisting of Linus Holst, and eventually grew into a trio of bombastic beats and fuzzy flavours when Linus was joined by Jonas and Mikkel. I was asked to help with the creation of some press material, which quickly grew into designing a typographic logo that could also be used for merch. Which i quickly ended up screen printing on tshirts, red on white.

Not long after we started collaborating on creating a visual expression for The Basement Projects, Linus reached out and asked if I would like to help record a live session. We shamelessly copied something we'd seen some other band do, and biult a wall of amps in the rehearsal space, and with the help of producer/engineer Kasper Bering Dones and the always trusty camera-operator-duo, Ben Blok and Benedek Magos, be got down to business and recorded a banger of a track.
